Section I – What we do with your information

You provide personal information such as your name, address and email address when you shop at our online store. Our system automatically registers your Internet Protocol (IP) address when you browse our online store. This allows us to learn about the browsers and operating systems of our customers so that we can improve our site. We will not send you emails about new products or sales unless you give your consent.

Section II – Consent

How can you get my permission?

We assume that you give us permission to use your personal information for business transactions only when you provide it during checkout (name, address and credit card details). We will never ask for personal data for any other reason than a business transaction, such as for marketing emails. If this happens, we will ask for your explicit consent and offer you the option to decline.

What can I do to withdraw my consent?

If you decide you want to withdraw your consent for us to contact you or collect your info, you can contact us at support@d8wholesalers.com.

Section III – Disclosure

If required by law or if you violate our Terms and Conditions, we may share your information with a third party.

Section IV – WooCommerce

Our website is hosted on a shared server that runs the WooCommerce shopping cart. Some of your data is stored by WooCommerce in its databases as well as on the WooCommerce application. These data are stored on a secure server protected by firewalls.

Payment: WooCommerce will save your credit card information if you make your payment through a direct gateway. This information is protected by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, (PCI-DSS). Transaction data are not kept forever. They are only stored for the time it is needed to complete the purchase. The system will delete your transaction data after the purchase has been completed. All payment gateways that accept direct payments follow the PCI-DSS standards. The PCI Security Standards Council was responsible for the creation of the PCI-DSS. This council is a collaboration between Visa, American Express and Mastercard. These rules ensure that your credit card information will be handled securely by our service providers and stores.

Section V – Third Party Services

We will not store or use your data for any third-party service. Some third parties, such as direct payment gateways have their own policies regarding the information they will receive. It is a good idea to review the privacy policies for these services in order to understand how they store and use your information. Remember that these parties could have facilities or operations in different jurisdictions than you or us. If you use the services of third parties in a transaction, your data could be subject to the laws there. If you are a Mexican citizen and your transaction is handled by a payment gateway in the United States then your personal data used to complete that transaction will be subjected to the Patriot Act. If you leave our website, or are redirected on to a third-party website or application by us, the Privacy Policy or Terms of Services of that site will apply.

Section VI – Security

To protect your personal data, we take every precaution and follow the industry’s best practices. We protect your credit card information with secure socket layer technology (SSL), and store it with AES256 encryption. Although no information exchange over the Internet can be 100% secure, we take every precaution to ensure your data is protected by following all PCI DSS requirements and taking additional industry protective steps.

Section VII – Cookies

Cookies are used to store certain data, such as session length, items in the cart and visits. You have the option to opt out of cookies.

Section VIII – Age of Consent

You are certifying that you are at the least the age of majority in the state you live in by using our website. You have also given your consent for any minors under your care to access this site.

Section IX – Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy can be modified at any time. The changes take effect as soon as they are posted to the site. We will inform you if we make any changes to this policy. You can then review the changes and find out what information we collect, how it is used, and when it was collected. Your information could be transferred to a new owner if our store is acquired or merged.
